Main usage principles of Tyvek diffusive membranes:

  •  Tyvek diffusive membranes are laid directly on thermal isolation without leaving any air gap between the membrane and thermal isolation.
  • The installation is possible in vertical and horizontal directions. The overlap between the membranes on slope roofs, which incline exceeds 20˚, shall be at least 15cm. If the incline is smaller, the overlap is increased to 20cm.
  • The damages of diffusive membranes and joints with roofing elements have to be connected using the Tyvek acryl or butyl adhesive tape.
